Huawei newly sprung its P9 flagship smartphone. The high point feature of the handset is its dual-camera setup at the back, advanced in collaboration with German imaging pioneer Leica. But it appears that the company is hard at work on the P9's successor (most likely to be called P10), as some images of the purported handset have surfaced online.
The images, first spotted by GizmoChina website, disclose quite some details about the surprise smartphone's design. They notably highlight that the P10 will continue Huawei's partnership with Leica. Along with the Leica branding, the dual-camera setup with laser focus and dual-LED flash at the back is clearly visible too. There's also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. As for the front panel, it shows a bezel-less display. General form factor appears to be quite slim. It seems that Huawei will be presenting a secondary display on the coming P10, similar to what LG has used with its recently launched V20 flagship.
The secondary display is placed on the side and consists of quick-access shortcuts such as the battery, Wi-Fi, mobile networks and headphone connectivity.
